Some of 'em. Like, I guess there's practical things that your Pokemon just won't do, like let you ride them in the water or fly long distances with them or something, unless you have a certain one. Plus the Leaders give you gifts sometimes, if you beat 'em.

But yeah.

I mean, I understand being a little bummed-out or pissed off when you lose, but like... she loses a LOT. You'd think she'd be used to it by now.
