--okay, you got it, Sita? Good! Hey guys!
[ The feed snaps on with Korra's face sort of close to the cameraSHE FINALLY GOT THE HANG OF VIDEO, AREN'T YOU PROUD OF HER. The grin on Korra's face seems impossibly large, but one can tell she's pretty excited. ]
Look, I don't know what's been going on lately - some disease of sorts - but whatever this disease is... it's given my firebending back, at least! Check this out!
[ With a brief wave, Korra goes off to the side with the Gear following. Agni the Combusken comes into view and the Avatar stops a few feet away from her Pokemon before going into a stance. ]
Ready, Agni? [ The firebird nods before mimicking Korra's movements. ] Alright! Give me your best shot!
[ And he does! Agni throws a sizable Ember, but Korra's quick too dodge and closing the distance between herself and her Pokemon. She throws a punch about midway into her charge... only for a fireball of similar size to zoom at Agni. Yup. For the next minute or so, the fight feels like a typical, normal battle to the Avatar. Flames are bursting almost everywhere, but amidst the roar of flames and highly complicated moves, Korra is talking through it all: ]
Great! That's great, Agni! But move your leg like... this!
[ With a jump, Korra is in the air and throws her leg in a side arc and emitting flames from her feet. Agni tries to dodge, but is clipped in his side. However, due to the level of Korra's contamination, the attack isn't effective and Korra lands with a small grunt, but that same, wide grin on her face. This instruction goes on for another minute, but it's clear that, even though Korra is obviously no Pokemon, that she has far more experience and creativity in how to move and bend fire at her will.
Heck, when it all ends, Korra's giving her firebird a feather ruffle on his head before waving back at the feed. ]

None of the sick residents around here are throwing out fireballs like that... Do you know fire magic from your own world? There's no way you mastered that so fast!

[Not where she's
frombeen, anyways, even if fighting was part of the package. But this version's definitely more, visual, even if the flames weren't so big.]
How do you learn something like that?
[But, she supposes the concepts could be melded somehow... And since she's eying Agni.]
Could other Pokemon types fight with those moves?
[ Korra herself glances at her bird. Then grins. ]
That's what I'm trying to find out and teach him. Seems like he's getting the knack for it, though.
[But- hmm. The transmission did show the fire-type doing pretty well with it, even if she's not sure if that was some creative form of "ember" or something. Seemed viable, anyways.
But.]
Right, but I meant with other monster types. Water ones, or mud- I mean Ground? Some of their attacks move like that fire.
Seriously? Which moves are those?
Like, Brine? Or Icy Wind? Mud-Slap?
I haven't seen the first two... but the third? Yeah, it's similar. Heh. I could do the same back home.

Yeah, I guess so! Why do you ask?
